Mechanical Design Engineer (Houston, TX):

Description:

• Design, manufacture, and perform quality control for the Blowout Preventors.
• Repair components such as drilling spools and valves.
• Ensure all instruments are duly calibrated and the design and manufacture are compliant with API Spec Q1, 16A and 16C.
• Monitor stress concentrations and material properties using Surface and Volumetric NDE and other methods such as hardness tests, etc.

Requires Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
